Shakshuka is easy to make if you follow this recipe. Luckily, this shakshuka is a breeze to make! It only requires a handful of pantry ingredients, and you could even skip the spinach if you don't have any on hand. Instructions to make Shakshuka:

  3. Add the onion and pepper and cook further, if needed, to soften.
  4. Stir in the chopped tomatoes all the spices and the tomato puree and bring to the boil.
  5. Stir in the yoghurt. Adjust the heat until the mixture is bubbling then create four pouches in the surface into which the eggs can be cracked.
  6. Cover and simmer until egg is set to taste, 7-10 minutes.
  7. Serve in a warmed bowl
