  2. Get 1 tsp Cumin seeds

  4. Prepare 1 tsp Fennel seeds

  6. Make ready 5-6 Garlic pods
  7. Get leaves Curry
  8. Get 2 Onion chopped
  9. Get 1 tomato chopped
  10. Take 5 whole Cashews
  11. Make ready Grated coconut
  12. Make ready 10 mint leaves
  13. Prepare To make gravy
  14. Take Whole spices (Cinnamon, cloves, stone flower, start anise)
  15. Take 1/2 onion chopped
  16. Prepare 1 small tomato chopped (optional)
  17. Get leaves Curry
  18. Take Vegetables or chicken (optional)
  19. Prepare Spice powder (1 tsp chilly powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, pinch of turmeric powder) or replace all with 3 tsp homemade kari milagai thool
  20. Make ready Salt as required
Steps to make Salna for parota:
  1. Heat a pan with oil. Add cumin seeds, pepper, fennel seeds, ginger, garlic and few curry leaves. Sauté for few mins.
  2. Add onion and sauté until it becomes soft. Add tomatoes and sauté until it becomes soft. Add cashews, grated coconut and mint leaves. Switch off the flame. Cool it and grind it into smooth paste.
  3. In a pan add all whole spices and let it splutter. Add onion, curry leaves and sauté well. Add 1 small tomato and sauté well. Add some vegetables or chicken and sauté until it gets cooked. Add ground paste, spice powders and salt. Add enough water and cook until done.
