The ingredients needed to make Chicken briyani:
  1. Make ready 2 pcs bay leaves
  2. Take 1 pcs star anise
  3. Make ready 1 pcs cinnamon stick
  4. Take 5 pcs cardamom
  5. Prepare 10 pcs cloves
  6. Take 4 pcs finely chopped onion
  7. Make ready 2 pcs finely chopped tomato
  8. Make ready 3 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  9. Make ready 1/2 cup curd
  10. Take 1 tbsp lemon juice
  11. Take 7 pcs green chillies
  12. Prepare leaves Coriander
  13. Prepare leaves Mint
  14. Make ready 1/2 tbsp kashmiri chilli powder
  15. Make ready 3 cup Basmathi rice
  16. Prepare 600 gm chicken
  17. Take 3 tbsp oil
  18. Prepare 2 tbsp ghee
  19. Prepare Salt as required
  20. Make ready 4.5 cup Water
Steps to make Chicken briyani:
  1. In a pot add ghee,oil wait till the oil is heat then add all the spices,onion,green chillies,coriander leaves and mint leaves.
  2. Saute till the onion colour changed to golden brown then add ginger garlic paste saute till the raw smell of the ginger garlic paste disappears.
  3. Then add tomato cook till it become smashy then add chilli powder,wait till the oil is separated from the mixture.
  4. Now add the curd,lemon juice and chicken mix all the ingredients close the lid and cook in a low flame till the chicken get cooked for 75%.
  5. Then add a water (for 1cup of basmati rice 1.5cup of water both should be same cup) make it to a boil state after that add rice here we need to check the taste of salt and cover with lid.
  6. Cook in a low flame after 15-20mins the biryani is ready to serve.
